Amazon Prime Video Will Dump Its Ads For $5.99 Monthly

Get ad-free Prime Video starting March 4

Here's how to do it

Amazon is finally giving Prime Video subscribers the option to ditch the ads. Starting March 4, you'll be able to sign up for an ad-free Prime Video account for $5.99 per month. That's the same price as the current Prime Video subscription, which includes ads. Currently, you can't sign up for an ad-free Prime Video account straight away. You need to sign up for the regular account and then remove the ads later, which can be annoying and confusing. Amazon says that you can remove the ads from your Prime Video account by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Amazon account.
  2. Click on the "Prime Video" tab.
  3. Click on the "Settings" tab.
  4. Under the "Playback" section, click on the "Ad-Free Playback" option.
  5. Click on the "Subscribe" button.
Once you've subscribed to the ad-free Prime Video account, you'll no longer see advertisements while watching videos. This is a great move by Amazon. Ads can be annoying, and they can ruin the viewing experience. With the ad-free Prime Video account, you'll be able to enjoy your favorite shows and movies without interruption. If you're a Prime Video subscriber, I recommend that you switch to the ad-free account as soon as possible. It's the same price as the regular account, and it's a much better experience.
